A new project by Audrey Desrosiers, in collaboration with Théâtre Déchaînés, Words At The Window is a one spectator play performance, which explores themes of memory, family, and creativity.

At the intersection of poetry and therapeutics, this project is designed and adapted for a clientele suffering from early-onset dementia. It is intended as a pleasant and personalized conversation, in which the viewer can participate as much as they wish, without ever going beyond their limits. With strong expertise in ethical interactive theater, Théâtre Déchainés’s play proposal is designed so that everyone truly feels comfortable getting involved in the conversation without ever feeling obligated to do so.

In a liminal space where time seems to suspend itself, this meeting aims to break the isolation and to give a moment of respite from the daily heaviness that accompanies the disease.  The offering is also one of grounding, therefore allowing for creativity to emerge within the participants as they feel more and more anchored in the present moment.
